What is PropertytoRetire?
Property to Retire is a national web site providing an information service of real estate property listings to specifically target the niche markets of:
- baby boomers looking to enjoy retirement with their dream lifestyle property;
- baby boomers looking for a retirement property for their elderly parent or family;
- generation XY’s looking for an investment property towards their retirement.
The primary focus of the business is on providing accurate information in a professional format to meet the customer’s expectations.
The customer base has three segments:
- those that list properties;
- those looking to purchase a property to live in for their retirement or as an investment; and
- corporate partners & advertisers looking to reach a new customer base or increase sales.

The baby boomer market is a phenomenon that is expected to continue for at least another 20 years. Research shows global and national trends that tell us baby boomers want a tree change, sea change, downsize, resize to live out their dream lifestyle.
Who is PropertytoRetire?
Property to Retire is an Australian owned business, with a focus on delivering information to a specific niche market that is currently not serviced.
How will PropertytoRetire access the marketplace?
Through professional, targeted marketing, Property to Retire will be very active in marketing and promoting both the availability of the web site and a national program of educational seminars telling people how to maximise the benefits their retirement.
Ongoing competitions to stimulate interest will be run for both property listing subscribers and public to direct web site traffic.
When will PropertytoRetire access the Marketplace?
Property to Retire is operating from August 2007. Across Australia, the 17,800 registered Real Estate agents plus retirement estates and property developers are being contacted to subscribe to list properties of specific interest to baby boomers.

Segmented target groups defined specifically for lifestyle retirees and to capture in on the ‘sea change’ phenomenon that is estimated to last for at least another 20 years.
Site Objective

Proposal to Advertisers
- The cost varies depending on the space and combination of national, state regional or local display option taken but is payable monthly (plus g.s.t.).
- Offering is a static advert on the Property to Retire web site. This can be either one space (national) that comes up on the front screen and other selected screens results or can be a different advert (for each state) returned by ISP of the user. The message can be changed throughout the term of the agreement without additional cost. A link to the advertisers web site can be provided. If you wish an 'email' referral off the Property to Retire web site this would be at an additional cost.
- The space is payable monthly in advance with a 30 day termination notice. Preferred term minimum of a three month placement.
- Number of hits to the site will be determined by time.
- There is a very pro active marketing campaign that includes:
- A direct mail out to our Corporate Partner, Australian Central Credit Union (210,000 membership base) ;
- National television advertising which targets our major demographic target group.
