Website devoted to baby boomers
A NEW national property website
that starts soon will help baby
boomers find their ideal retirement
address or investment.
ProperrytoRetire.com.au is
designed for baby boomers who will
be exerting even greater influence on
the real estate sector.
For more than 25 years, baby
boomers born between 1946 and
1964 have dominated Australia's
property market.
It is predicted that in 10 years, these influential buyers will reach
retirement age and buy property.
The new site will be able to search
for a three-bedroom house, with
three bathrooms and two car spaces
on the coast, near a golf course or as
part of a retirement village.
It will also feature news, advice,
tips and case studies specific to
boomers and their choices.
PropertytoRetire.com.au
director Melos Sulicich is building
up the site's property listings
before its national launch.
"(The website) will make it
easier for baby boomers to find
their ideal property and, of
course, easier for agents and
vendors to make sales," he said.
"At its heart is a simple targeted
search technique to narrow
searches to a selection of key
properties and criteria that fit the
boomer's profile and aspirations.
"Many boomers want early
retirement and never before. has a
generation of Australians been so
cash-ready to make the call and
buy their dream retirement
property."
PropertytoRetire is purely for
registered real estate agents and
will not take private listings.
